Khulekhani (Indrasarobar)

An easy shoreline and ridge walk around Indrasarobar, the lake behind the Kulekhani dam, starting from Markhu. Popular as a weekend escape with boating and fish restaurants at the Markhu end, and commonly combined with the old Newar town of Chitlang over the ridge. Low, mild and walkable year round outside the monsoon.
