Autumn (October–November) — the peak season
After the monsoon clears the air, autumn delivers the clearest mountain views and the most stable weather of the year. It is the busiest trekking season and coincides with Nepal's biggest festivals, Dashain and Tihar.
Spring (March–May)
Warm, increasingly hazy lower down but excellent at altitude, spring brings rhododendron forests in bloom and is the main Himalayan climbing season. A great time for both trekking and valley sightseeing.
