Travia aggregates listings and fares from local Nepali operators and international OTAs, then shows them side by side with prices reconciled to the official Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) foreign-exchange rate — so you compare like for like.

Stays and tours are currently confirmed with pay-at-property — you book now and pay when you arrive (cash or a local wallet like eSewa/Khalti, depending on the host). Online card payments are being rolled out.

Cancellation and change policies vary by listing, so check the listing’s policy before you book. You can view and manage all of your bookings from your Account page.

Only travellers who have actually completed a booking (or, for real estate, a property viewing) can leave a review. That keeps every rating on Travia genuine.

Travia works in 5 languages — English, Nepali, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and Russian — and supports two currencies, NPR and USD, converted at the official Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) rate. NPR is the default for Nepal.

Individuals can host a space for free, and businesses can create a dedicated workspace from “Create a business”. Add your details, set pricing and availability, and publish — listing is free.

Because bookings are pay-at-property today, guests pay you directly when they arrive. As online payments roll out, payouts will be sent to your linked account, with everything tracked in your dashboard.
